Great Tools for Your Work
When looking for a power tool, have you decided on the type of tool you’ll need? Power tools are generally divided up between cordless power tools and electric, or corded, power tools. In addition to these options are air tools and manual tools. Regardless of what type of tools you choose, we carry such power sources as generators and air compressors to accompany your tools.
Drills come in many varieties for the type of job you need and material you need to drill a hole through. Our selection includes many power drills and cordless drill models that have various features for a sturdier grip, changing drill bits, and having more control in a smaller space. Some of the types of drills we carry include right angle drills, keyed and keyless drills, driver drill combinations, reversible drills, and hammer drills to cut clearly through bricks, rock, or masonry. Our drills are high-quality models by Makita, Hitachi, and Campbell Hausfeld, some of which are corded drills and others are cordless drill models operating off lithium ion batteries.
If you are about to cut through wood, you need to firmly anchor both sides of the wood before you begin. The last thing that you want is for a sharpened piece of wood to fly into the air and injure you or someone else. Depending on the type of wood that you are going to use, you may have to change blades. A general rule of thumb is to use a fine tooth saw for a very smooth cut and a course blade for a more “rough” look. Cutting metal with reciprocating power saws is much the same way.
